PSG Jade's Kitchen ("we," "our," or "us") operates the PSG Jade's Kitchen mobile application (the "App"). Payment processing is handled entirely by our third-party payment gateway, Razorpay. We do not store your credit/debit card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank account details on our servers. The following information is shared with Razorpay solely for the purpose of processing your payment:

• Order amount and order ID
• Your name, email, and phone number (for Razorpay payment receipt)

1.4 Automatically Collected Data

• Authentication Tokens: Securely stored on your device using Android Keystore / iOS Keychain for session management.
• App Usage Data: Basic interaction data such as items browsed and cart activity, used solely for app functionality.

1.5 Microphone Access (Voice Search)

The App requests microphone permission to enable voice search for food items. Audio is processed on-device using the operating system's speech recognition engine. We do not record, store, transmit, or upload any audio data to our servers.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be transparent. The App does not collect:

• Precise GPS location or geolocation data
• Photos, videos, or media files
• Contacts or address book information
• Calendar or event data
• Health or fitness data
• SMS or message content
• Device files or documents
• Advertising or tracking identifiers

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Account Management: To create and manage your user account and authenticate your identity via OTP.
• Order Processing: To process, fulfill, and deliver your food orders.
• Payment Processing: To facilitate secure payments through Razorpay.
• Rewards & Loyalty: To manage your Jade Coin balance and apply coupon discounts.
• App Functionality: To power features like voice search, order history, and delivery slot selection.
• Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries and resolve issues.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols.
• Secure Token Storage: Authentication tokens are stored using Android Keystore and iOS Keychain (via Expo SecureStore), ensuring encrypted storage at rest.
• Access Controls: Server-side access to user data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
• Session Management: Sessions automatically expire, and users can log out at any time to clear stored credentials.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active.
• Order History: Retained for record-keeping and to provide order history features.
• Authentication Tokens: Stored locally on your device and cleared upon logout.

7. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: You can view your profile information and order history within the App.
• Update: You can update your email address through the profile section of the App.
• Deletion: You may request complete deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email address provided below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
